I forgot to add:

* Please bring gas money for the driver. I like to pay about double the cost 
of gas (split amongst the people in the car), partly to cover the cost of wear 
and tear on the vehicle (and carwashes!), partly to encourage people to drive 
me to all sorts of interesting places, but not all drivers will accept that 
much. You should at least cover the gas cost between you though.
