I've done a bit of it all, but would like to become better versed in the technical aspects of outdoor activities and take advantage of the place I live.
Probably Interlaken, Switzerland. It's a beautiful, picturesque eco-touristy town sandwiched between two lakes (hence the name) that looks like it sprang straight from a postcard. I went paragliding there and got to see it from the sky, which was AMAZING.
I traveled by myself to do research in Ecuador last summer which was quite an adventure. As far as singular outdoor activities, I would probably choose between the Via Ferrata in West Virginia or swimming out of the Sinks of Gandhi, a water cave also in WV.
Hm . . . I have a few trees I really love to retreat to when life gets overwhelming.
Via the interwebs.
I love being outdoors and am looking forward to connecting with other like-minded people. I enjoy cooking and eating good food, writing, gardening, and filling my days with many less productive activities.
