Hometown: Latrobe, PA
October 26, 2010
I've always enjoyed hiking, and recently went kayaking for the first time and really enjoyed it. The upstate has so much to offer for outdoor activity and I look forward to meeting new people and enjoying the outdoors.
Hiking, camping, kayaking
Lake Jocassee, Table Rock, Cashiers, Whitewater Falls, to name a few.
I would have been torn between hiking to the top of Table Rock and hiking to the bottom of Whitewater Falls, except my recent kayak experience ranks higher because I have a fear of water.

Welcome Michaela: Wow. I'm glad to see you are interested in writing about your experiences or whatever. The goal of every writer is to get published. And John Parnell (co-organizer) is the man to see. I started the group in July 14, 2011 and met a variety of people with a variety of writing talent. Writing is one thing we can all do everyday...rain or shine.
Wow, you are in a lot of the groups I would like to join - Dance, hiking, Coaching, social... If I move closer to Greenville, I will.
Thanks Michaela. Am planning to come 22nd for the hike. Looking forward to meeting you.
Thanx 4 the Greeting. I too am a transplant Left my Home State of Michigan some 19 years ago. Mgo Blue.
Welcome to DANCE GREENVILLE!
Michaela, Welcome to the Anderson Business Strategy and Networking group. We are a great group of small business people with a vision for growing our business. I look forward to seeing you at our next event.
I've paddled Section 2 and part of section 3 on the Chattooga River. I like section 2 the best. You can use any recreation boat on that section without difficulty. I have a Liquid Logic "Gus" for Section 3. A tandem sit-on-top I find more secure on open lake water as it is safer and you don't have to bail it out.
