William O'Brien State Park will host their "
Happy Falloween" event on October 18 from 6:30pm to 9:00pm. There will be campsite decorating, a pumpkin carving contest, trick or treating for kids, and a storyteller followed by a marshmallow roast. The park also has 12 miles of hiking trails. I have reserved 1 electric site and we can get more if needed. The cost will be $20.

Beautiful weather, no bugs, cute kids and costumes, very relaxing, by far it is the best time of the year to camp.

We just grab a coffee and speak French. Some people have been coming every week for months... it creates a kind of warmth to the group.
