Christmas comes but once a year. When we were young though, it seemed much longer as we had waited patiently for that special toy that we knew would be under the tree if we had been nice which was so much easier when you were a kid.
Now we are adults and there aren't too
many special toys waiting for us under the tree anymore and Christmas seems
to come faster and faster every year. (Is it almost 2010 already?) Instead of
toys though, there are Christmas parties which are, frankly, even better. For

are a good excuse to have a few drinks and hang out with friends especially
Consequently, the American and British MeetUp are organizing a joint holiday event. (We have even invited the Canadians and Australians). So whether you are celebrating Christmas, Chanukkah (the C is silent) or Kwanzaa, come join us.
We have reserved the downstairs for our shindig but there will also be live music in the upstairs. Or, if you are a fan of live music, come for the music and stop by at our party.
