CHA 1st Annual "Medicate and Meditate"

The CHA is sponsoring a spiritual event for the NYC Cannabis community, our 1st Annual "Medicate and Meditate"!

Meditation has been cojoined with cannabis for thousands of years in religious practice, we will explore the magic of cannabis and meditation. For many religions cannabis and spirituality are a must, whereas in Western religions cannabis is a sin. We will delve into the history and ponder various theories about the contrast in sentiment between various religions and cannabis.

Here is a video of the sacred practice of meditation and cannabis:

Sadhu's Worship Shiva, Use Cannabis In Meditative Practice

Join our meditation leader Adam, a cannabis advocate and expert in meditation as we will embark on the first ever cannabis meditation. Attendees will descend on Harriman State Park, gorgeous 52,000 acre park in New York approximately 1 hour from New York City. The CHA will have a picnic lunch prepared, water bottles, and a presentation on cannabis' history in meditative practice will be given followed by short hike, meditation, and walking meditation.

Join us in one of our last outdoor events this Summer!

Sponsors are welcome. We are seeking donations for money, food, and resources to make this event special!

The event is $10, RSVP no later than Friday August 15th, 2014

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.
