Hi there...

I haven't been able to collect donations very often to offset the fee that meetup.com charges me as the organizer to host this group on meetup.com. This fee is US$12/month.

I've decided to try piloting a membership fee of $1/year (I hope that's okay huh?)  :-)

If we end up getting scads of money in the account then I can:

a) use the extras for the annual Chinese New Year party and/or to rent spaces for various events - classroom or a party room for MOVIES

b) reduce the fee somewhat - maybe to 50cents a year.

Let's see how it goes. I've no idea how it even works...

Let me know if you have any suggestions, and if you want to see my expenses and revenue, somewhere in the tabs on the page, there should be a tab called "Money"... let me know if you  can't see it. I don't know how it appears to y'all.
