The London Cantonese Language Meetup Group Message Board › London Chinese Community Centre “CCC33 Charity Walk”
The London Chinese Community Centre is holding a fundraising “CCC33 Charity Walk”.
Come and help fulfil our centre’s vision: to promote diversity and encourage a healthy lifestyle by joining our first ever Charity Walk! This event will help raise funds for the Chinese Community Centre, which has given a helpful hand to the British Chinese community for the last 33 years.
The first “CCC33 Charity Walk” will commence at Leicester Court, on Sunday 23rd June 2013 at 10:00 am. There will be three walks to choose from for all levels of fitness for all ages: 0.5, 2.5 and 5 miles. We will start from Chinatown to warm up with the 0.5 mile walk first, then have free lunch at our centre and a bit of a rest before continuing to Lancaster Gate Tube Station. We will walk through St. James Park, Green Park and Hyde Park, passing Kensington Palace, Buckingham Palace and other attractions. Come join us and enjoy the rich heritage of London as well as the pleasant garden views – an unmissable social event for friends and relatives.
