The annual holiday tradition which transforms the historic streets of downtown Troy into a magical stage of song, dance, and family enjoyment – the Troy Victorian Stroll – is set to happen for the 29th time on Sunday, December 4, 2011.
The Troy Victorian Stroll marks its 29th year as the region's premier FREE holiday event. All afternoon—from 11 am to 5:00 pm—Troy's historic downtown will offer more than 100 free attractions, including the region's top performers, musicians, dancers, magicians, and storytellers.
There will be rides, refreshments, a craft show and much more, set in the historic beauty of Victorian downtown Troy. Throughout the afternoon, Troy's fine shops, boutiques and galleries will be open for holiday shopping. If you're hungry, make sure to stop into many of Troy's best eateries or for a quick bite, visit our food court located next to City Hall.
All city-owned parking lots and garages are FREE the day of the Stroll.
The Troy Victorian Stroll attracts nearly 20,000 visitors from throughout the Northeast. The event is privately funded by corporate and citizen contributions and organized by the Rensselaer County Regional Chamber of Commerce. The City of Troy provides operational support.
