Attended LCG Fridays last night. Wow! I'm impressed by how much it's grown. Not only is the LCG stuff rockin' it out, as per usual, but board gaming in general has grown to be a regular thing on Fridays as well. Board gaming on Fridays is a bit more impromptu than our regular Board Game Madness' but there's not much difference. Last night I saw Pandemic, Star Realms, Ascension, Pathfinder, and a few more before I had to leave. I couldn't pay attention to much as I got my butt handed to me about three times in Call of Cthulhu LCG. I think I beat Steve the first time but then he won (is that right, Steve?)

Then I faced Ash and her Miskatonic Rush deck. That was quick. Finally, a long battle with Richard and the dreaded Yithian Mill, which should be nerfed a second time. I may've had him if I had paid attention to his deck. He had about six cards left and I drew five of my own and was able to keep one. I didn't see his deck and put a card back that allowed me to choose someone to discard four cards from their deck. Milling him wasn't on my mind! But I was able to win two stories, shut down Peasley, and force him to sacrifice many key characters while sacrificing my weanies. Anyone is welcome to attend Fridays. We'll be happy to teach LCGs or you can utilize the library of board games.
