Another awesome day of gaming in the books for Card Board Gamers! At the end of the session I had one feeling and that was the day just flowed. People just flowed from one game to the other. Good day, I thought. I was also to not only play two games of my own I've been wanting to get to the table but was able to try a game I was interested in and someone else picked up at Gen Con. Thanks, as always, to BluegrassMagic for the use of space. Congrats to Dustin C. for winning the twenty dollar gift card.

I didn't hate the game but neither did I like it that much. The ending was very anti-climactic and the drafting process takes much too long. A better option may be something similar to 7 Wonders. Every player has a different hand of cards and is allowed to draft one and then pass the hand. In our game, it wasn't very enjoyable waiting for others to draft their cards as you had nothing to do but wait. The miniatures are nice but the photo illustrations on most of the cards may turn many off. I'm used to Flying Frog games so it didnt' bother me but I heard at least one person say they didn't like it. But, still, I would've rather have tried this game than not so I'm glad at least for that.

Is that it? It seems as if I'm missing a game. Three fillers and one medium length game? Was that all for me? If anyone played something with me I'm forgetting please let me know.

At other tables, A Game of Thrones BG saw play. Dodd won (what's wrong with you people?). The regular group of Risk Legacy gamers got together (although Dodd filled in for Jay, I think, someone, anyway). Also Legendary Encounters (we are certainly have a lot of Legendary lovers in this group), Galaxy Truckers, Coup, Abyss, Heroes Wanted, Smash Up, Mayday! Mayday!, Settlers of Catan, and more! I also watched a very hilarious game of Sheriff of Nottingham. This a a game I really want to try sometime soon. Such a simple concept and I love bluffing games.

      See you guys next time!
