Elevator Pitch (or "Tell me about yourself") Workshop with Laura Labovich

An elevator speech is the 30-60 second description of '"what you do and why someone should care!" It's called an "Elevator Pitch" because it describes the challenge:
"How would you explain your value (and hopefully land an opportunity) if fate placed you in an elevator with your target employer and you only had the time it takes to get from the top of the building to the bottom?"
In this interactive workshop, we'll break into groups and work on perfecting our elevator pitch for various audiences:
1. 2 sentence pitch for informal networking events or casual settings;
2. 30 seconds: a bit more formal, but still just giving them a taste of what you do (three things that you need to know about me...);
3. A "Two-Minute Pitch" for more formal settings such as in an interview.
Come with a written version of YOUR elevator speech in hand and we'll work together to hone and perfect it!
