Knifecraft: Secrets of Steel

Instructor: Joe Flowers

A knife is the single most important tool in human history, and it made our species what we are today. In this class, we will share unique knife techniques and we will explore how to sharpen a knife in many different ways. We will also compare different knife styles from all around the world and discover how they relate to our human story. This isn’t your mama’s whittling chip class. Participants will carve different take-home projects related to outdoor camping and living skills, and learn how to maintain a good edge.

Please RSVP here and go to http://www.piedmontwildlifecenter.org/adult-classes/ to register for the class

Be sure to bring your sharpening equipment if you have it, as there may be stuff to learn from it, and tips and tricks to help everyone!
