Woodinville Ramble Eastwardly (Moderate)

If you are looking for a shorter ride to complement your longer ride of the week or if you just want to hit some strong riding in a compact time frame, this ride offers those features for the Moderate paced rider. We will be mixing up hill work and flats as we head east from Woodinville toward the Snoqualmie River Valley. See the ridewithgps map at for route details (the plan is for about 35 miles distance and circa 2450 feet elevation).

Larger font cue sheets can be available at the start if you let the Ride Leader know by email by Friday noon. The pace will be Moderate on the flats; faster riders and better climbers are welcome, but for them the ride becomes self-paced and self-guided. The ride leader is still kinda slow up hills we encounter but will always get there. Riders should have 2 tubes, pump, and the knowledge of how to use them.

Pace: Moderate (14-16 mph on the flats)
Terrain: Hills
Cue Sheet or Map Available? Yes - let me know if you want me to bring a paper copy
Regroup: Occasional
Weather Cancels? - Steady Rain cancels

Great riders for this one! And we found the good weather window today - rained before the ride and after the ride (and only a little during the ride!)

Well, it is raining now (0713) in Woodinville....pretty sure it can't keep this up all day (otherwise I should be googling up shops that sell arks!). I will be at the start area around 0800 (under the covered area in the park) - even if the rain is still going (and hopefully not too heavily) we might start out and do the first part of the ride and assess if the conditions warrant continued riding or just find a nice warm and dry coffee shop!

I know this is a little early start time for many cyclists but I have to do a pickup of a family member at the airport today so my schedule was a little constrained.
