Sunday Steadies #1: Woodinville/Bellevue (40 mi / 1800')

If you are looking for a shorter ride (as long as 40 miles is short to you!) to complement your longer ride of the week (e.g. if you are doing STP or RSVP training) or if you just want to hit some fun riding with an earlier start for the day, this ride offers those features for the Steady paced rider. We will be mixing up a few hills in Bellevue with Sammamish River Valley flats.  Draft route at http://ridewithgps.com/routes/2429528

Larger font cue sheets can be available at the start if you let the Ride Leader know by email by Friday noon. The pace will be Steady on the flats; faster riders and better climbers are welcome, but for them the ride becomes self-paced and self-guided. The ride leader is still kinda slow up hills we encounter but will always get there. Riders should have 2 tubes, pump, and the knowledge of how to use them.

Steady paced (12-14 mph on the flats)

Terrain - some hills

Weather cancellation - steady rain cancels

Regroups - Occasional

Cue Sheets at start if you let me know you want them.  I'll post the final cue sheets as a file later this week on this site

Darn! I will be brewing/cruising on this day :-(. I wonder if I can join you for the first 1 hour... Miss those hills.

Not sure what your schedule is on Sunday but we do a small part of Education Hill at mile 4.3 and then do the bigger climb into Bellevue at mile 11.3 - however, we don't have any "crusher" hills in this ride!! We'll have to set up some hill climbing rides for you to deal with your Hill Climbing Withdrawal symptoms! :>)

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.
