Cheers to the Austin Cavalier Owners!
Tomorrow is the big day to be there with your other Cavalier friends for
frolicking and celebration of the season.
David, our great leader, and the wonderful Zoom Room have allowed Cavalier
Rescue to set up a table of Cavalier goodies for a Silent/Buy It Now
Auction. Bidding will commence at 1 pm and the auction will close at 1:45
pm. Only checks and cash to be accepted as I don't have the means to do
Cavalier Rescue USA has had a busy year. Thus far, we have taken in
412 Cavaliers, which is a 30% increase over the previous year. We've paid
a staggering $196,000 in vet bills as many of these dogs have had significant
and expensive health issues. Recently, in Texas, we have taken in a 7 1/2
yr old Cavalier Blenheim female whose owner died. She is healthy, except
for her weight which was a whopping 41 lbs when she came in (now 37 pounds!!),
and came from a CKCSC breeder with champion blood lines. Another 8 yr old
Cavalier came into a shelter in the East TX area and is heartworm positive, has
cataracts and was apparently used as a breeding female in a puppy mill
If you cannot come to the event, you can donate to help continue our work
to save those Cavaliers in need by going to the following web site: http://tinyurl.com/Rescuedonation
by sending a check to our Treasurer, Sandi Prince, 3 John Todd Way, Redding,
CT 06896. We are totally dependent on donations and are a 501(c)(3)
non-profit organization so your contributions are tax deductible.
Come with your Cavalier Princes and Princesses tomorrow and enjoy the day
