Sorry guys, that was my mistake! I meant to only send it to Sheila! But while we are at it, anyone that wants to go to the clinic to hear the talk only is welcome to do so without paying the fee. More info to come as we get closer
Sheila, you can actually draft it and send it to the group at [address removed] or send it to me and I’ll post it. Either way is fine. I would say we should tell people that they can hear the talk without paying the fee sooner rather than later. I agree that the rest of the stuff can go out a week before. Let me know if you want me to post it.
I've spoken with Dr. Meier and anyone who want to come to just hear the talk may do so free.
I know you said you would be out of town on Mar 18. I think we need to send out a reminder email prior to the event to include: (1) a reminder about the event, date/time, parking, bringing chairs, etc.; (2) asking anyone to advise me via my email of if they are bringing more than one dog to be checked; (3) letting those know who just want to hear the lecture w/o the exam that it is free; (4) parking arrangements; (5) payment arrangements (correct cash or check ONLY - No credit cards), and anything else I can think of. I can draft this up for you tomorrow or Saturday. I hope between Dr. Meier's schedule and mine that we can talk and firm everything down regarding the set up, check in, etc. and then I can do the email draft for you.
I'm really thrilled that so many people are interested in learning about this genetic predisposition to all our dogs and how to recognize it and treatments available.
If I've left out anything in the items to be covered, let me know and I'll incorporate it into the draft for you.

I’m glad we have such good participation for the clinic. If Dr. Meiers is willing to let people come just for the talk without having the dog examined, you might have more interested people…
