Ice climbing - North Carolina

The weather forecast this next week looks great for some ice climbing close to home in North Carolina.  This is a beginner friendly trip so if you've ever wanted to try ice climbing now is the time.  Gear (helmet, harness, crampons, mountaineering boots, and ice axes) will be provided.  Dress in layers (NO COTTON) and bring snacks and water.  Cost will depend on the number in our group.  $135 each for two, $100 each for three, $90 each for four, and $75 each for five or more.  The cost covers the gear and a full day of climbing.  We will meet at the CPA on campus at ETSU and carpool.  Feel free to call or text me with any questions at[masked]-6200.

Hi Matthew, this is a beginner friendly climb so the activity level is moderate. The climbing can be a workout but if you're already active hiking etc you'll be fine.
