Cancelled! No host --- Rappelling at Bays Mountain

This event has been cancelled because we can't find Jeff Bell who was hosting this event.

Local Rappelling and climbing at Bays Mountain. Nuff Said

Well, actually... there is a bit more to say... It's about 40 feet. Perfect for the beginner. Only half as high as Backbone and 1/3 as far away.
Bring a picnic lunch and we'll bring all the gear.

Meet us on location at 12:00 pm.  There is a small round stone observatory (about 10 feet in diameter) on the right in the "Overflow" parking area a few hundred feet past the main entrance.  Park there. Jeff Bell is hosting this event.

I am going to go hiking at Bays Mountain today. Same time, same place- if anyone wants to go.

Aaron, I would like to try this but I don't want to be a burden again if my sciatic nerve acts up (like it did with the caving). It took about 5 days for the intense agony to calm down. What's your opinion? More or less strenuous than caving? Thanks, jackie

Sorry, I must have misread this. I thought it was Saturday.
