A voluntary (and much appreciated) suggested donation in the neighborhood of $25 per adult ($5 for children) to help buy the pig and keg will be gladly accepted. We encourage everyone to pay this to Tim, Aaron, Troy, or Jim up to 2 weeks early so that we can use it to pay for the event.
It will be an all night event while we tend the pig followed by a lake day and BBQ the next day. We'll camp in tents and take shifts tending the pig.
The schedule below is merely a suggestion and subject to change for flexibility but stands as a means to keep the day full and moving along.
9AM - Guests wishing to help with setup arrive and help with digging the fire pit, setting up yard for tents, setting out trash cans, getting boat ready, general prep.
12PM - 2PM - Guests start arriving. Opportunity to socialize. Set up tents and camping gear. Familiarize yourself with property.
2PM - Lunch on the deck (Bring your own). Tap Keg.
2PM-7PM - Games and social time. Boat sports, Cornhole toss, other water and yard games/activities.
7PM - Dinner by fire. Hot dogs, etc.
8PM - ? Campside fun - guitars, stories, socializing, etc. Maybe some night fishing for those interested.
?PM - Sleep in tents
7 AM - Those wishing to help get pit fire started may join us while we set it up
8 AM - Breakfast (Biscuits & Gravy) w/ coffee and OJ
9AM - 1PM - Break down tents/campsites. Lake Day/Watersports/socializing and yard fun.
12PM - 1PM - Somewhere in this time frame lunch will be served (pig) and tap re-opens.
1PM - 3PM - Wrap up lunch, everyone helps to clean up. Event ends.
MEALS Saturday: Lunch (Bring your own) Dinner (Hot Dogs – grilled with buns, chili, ketchup) – Feel free to bring your own snacks/sides Sunday: Breakfast – Biscuits and Gravy Lunch – BBQ Whole Pig, Potato Salad, Corn on Cob, Baked Beans
Lunch and Dinner both days will feature Beer and Water and Kool-Aid to drink.
What to Bring

Water toys / floats (children must wear floats to swim – water gets deep fast)
Tent / sleeping bag
Sunscreen & bugspray
Fishing rod / tackle
Snacks, food, & drinks (for unfurnished meals) or as additional sides to your own party’s meals.
Cooler with ice
Personal beer / alcohol
Not required but greatly appreciated – Bring a bag of ice (in addition to your own personal ice) for use at the cookout. Does not have to be purchased, several trays of home-made work just as well.
