34th Annual Dan'l Boone Rally (2011)
The Carolinas BMW Motorcycle Owners Association invites you to join us again for the Annual Boone Rally. Did you know this rally is unlike many other rallies?
Held at the KOA Camground in Boone, NC motorcycle riders from as far away as California and Canada have enjoyed the best riding anywhere. Rain or shine ride NC’s Blue Ridge Parkway and High Country, Southwestern Virginia and Northeastern Tennessee. Dust off that classic/vintage motorcycle and ride in. We have plenty of room for everyone and all brands!
This rally is unique in that three states are your riding playground – Tennessee, North Carolina and Virginia. West Virginia and Kentucky are a stretch but possible.
At The Gate Rally Fees:
August 11th arrival – $55 per person (includes extra night camping, hot dog dinner on Thursday and all other rally activities)
August 12 arrival – $45 per person (includes all rally activities)
Rally Fee Includes:
Friday and Saturday night camping
Rally Pin for first 200 attendees
5 tickets for Door Prizes
Catered BBQ dinner on Saturday Night
Donuts & Coffee – Saturday & Sunday Mornings
24hr Coffee, Tea, Hot Chocolate

I have a 2nd house in Boone will I need to submit the 49.50 if Im just going to stop by and meet for maybe and hour since I dont need to stay at the KOA or anywhere? Thanks in advance for ur reply so I may ascertain any information before showing up.

Richard, Thanks for your inquiry. The Rally committee will have to make a policy decision as to whether there will be a day pass and what that entails. Things like door prize tickets, meals, etc. I can tell you a few years ago I stayed at my second home nearby and had to pay full price, however, I did partake in the doorprizes and meals. One of our committee will get back with as soon as possible. Right now, many are in Daytona.

I have two friend who are thinking about attending the rally, but don't want to camp. Can they attend the rally without paying the $45 entry fee for camping, etc. Maybe they could just pay for the dinners? (I'll be camping :-)

Come on and sign up, Kelly. When we run out of sprawl space we can get several more million in by stacking up. The sky is the limit. We have plenty of sprawl space but take this advice - Get there early!
Choice tent space goes first. Returning attendees know the best tent, camper and RV spots. We respond to direct email so use rally@carolinasbmwmoa.org when needed.

KellyHad a great time. I was at the rally alone, but was invited by three different people to ride with their group. I had a Saturday destination ride planned and rode that instead, but people were very friendly. Thank you for arranging all of the door prizes from venders, etc. The door prize part was fun. I also enjoyed the dinners Friday and Saturday. Thank you!

RichRichie Rich, Co-Organizer+1 guestGreat time and some really great roads for people to explore. The rain mostly held off and it was much cooler there than Bloomsburg. Then Hell was cooler than Bloomsburg. But being at 3000 ft. + made it very comfortable. There was room for more.
