No introduction yet
See what I shared in the "Introduction" section. Holly& I just enjoy walking around Catonsville, along the streets of the grand, old houses, or the trolley trail in Ellicott city. We discovered the old Daniel's area of the state park near Ellicott City.Really interesting area that used to be a milltown, was an actual town. There is a great path along the river, & woods to explore, & some ruins also. We love being out among nature. Holly likes other dogs as long as they are friendly. My ex-husband, & I got her at 10 weeks old from a small farmer in Westminster. Holly was the only pup in the litter, and our vet said that was nothing to be concerned about. She is a great dog, full of love. She was "adopted" by our 12 y/o beagle at the time. I called Rudi the "Granny Dog." Rudi passed @ 14, & I know Holly grieved. We have a cat who is not interested in pursuing a relationship!
When looking for dog meetups in the area on line.
I just joined, so I haven't been to any meetups yet, but it sounds like a fun, fantastic way to spend time w/one's beloved canine, & meet others, humans,& canines! Dogs are such a gift from God, & people who love them are special. It will be nice to meet special people, & dogs, get exercise, enjoy activities! See you soon!
Ruth Ann, this will literally take a minute of your time!
We, Adopt A Homeless Animal Rescue (AAHA) are in a contest in which the top three finishers will receive a $5000 charitable gift from Mutual of Omaha. Scott Mahoney has chosen AAHA as his charitable recipient, if he wins.
The website link is www.scottmahoney.biz and the "vote now button" is to the right of the video on the page. $5000 would really help to cover the cost of boarding fees, and vet bills for the dogs in need! Thanks, Mark
Welcome Ruth Ann, I look forward to meeting you, and introducing you to many wonderful dogs! Mark
Hi Ruth Ann! The first meeting was really good. I think there will be a lot of encouragement and inspiration.
