COME ONE, COME ALL to the January Gluten Free Market Vendor Fair & Shopping Trip!!

Together with the Gluten Free Market, Outrageous Foods, Shabtai Gourmet, Mr. Ritt's, Everybody Eats and several other great GF vendors & distributors we've organized this event to allow the gluten free community to gather together around one of the activities we all have to do anyway (SHOPPING)...at one of the best places in the NY Metro area selling hard to find and fabulous GF products -- the GLUTEN FREE MARKET!!

This isn't just a shopping trip, though -- it's a VENDOR FAIR...

Among the vendors who will be there showing off their gluten free creations and getting to know their customers are:

The Vendor Fair & Shopping Trip will be followed by a family-style GF dinner at ]Maggiano's Little Italy in Hackensack, NJ!!

Maggiano's Little Italy has an amazing, all-you-can-eat Family Style menu featuring GF PASTA!! Because space is limited to 25 people for the dinner, you'll have to RSVP separately...

TRANSPORTATION
As we have done in the past, we will be attempting to coordinate transportation options so that anyone who wants to come will have a way to get there!

For those coming from NYC, we're going to meet at a central Jersey City collection point (see address below) at 10:30AM near the Grove St PATH station in Jersey City. From there we will be driving to the Gluten Free Market together. Anyone who has wheels and plans to drive to the event, and is interested in inviting a few friends into their cars, please let me know so I can coordinate carpooling. We may also rent a small van or bus to bring people if there aren't enough carpoolers available. Transportation home will be to the Jersey City collection Point (or possibly to the Port Imperial Ferry Terminal with ferries going to Manhattan).

For those driving directly there, we'll see you at the Gluten Free Market at 12:00PM!! Please let me know if you need directions.

This is so cool! I was googling the Gluten Free Pantry and came across the Meet Up for it. I have a 2 1/2 year old celiac boy and I'm bringing a friend who has a 3 year old! Very exciting to find you guys!

Soo many great people, great vendors, great goodies...what a great time!!
    •  It totally rocked! good job ben.
    •  I thought it was awesome!

Food and educational material was great! It was great to see so many fellow GF people. The only thing I can say that was a bit disappointing was how is was unorganized and chaotic; but a great experience!!

It felt so good to walk into a store and be able to buy whatever I wanted w/o looking at labels. Even though it was crowded, I can't complain because it was definitely worth it. I found great pizza, mac "n" cheese, and other great gf items I had been looking for for months. I would definitely do this again.
    •  great event! What a venue - the Gluten Free Market is an amazing store that truly caters to the Gluten Free Community! Cant wait till the next event!

I had a great time meet some very nice people & got some really good food which I was able to taste before I purchased always a plus.
    • Nicole (+2 guests)
Excellent--lots of fun. Very crowded and long lines but I am willing to deal with it to keep these kinds of events going & support GF businesses!
    • Heather Gallagher (+3 guests)
Was great, but too crowded, maybe next time, in the spring, it could be out side where there was more room.
    • Erin (+1 guest)
Although the line was slow-moving because the big turn-out - it was a great event with great vendors and lots of products.

was able to purchase food i really liked because of the tasting aloud. the venders were very nice and helpful. i enjoyed the event and will go again.. thanks for inviting me... sharon

It was a great turnout, but crowded!! Maybe this store can sponsor the event off-site. This way, they could still get business, although I recognize perhaps not as much. Standing on line to make purchases took 45 -50 minutes.
    • Rita (+1 guest)
Great turnout and far too crowded. No garbage cans downstairs. Late vendors to set up. Would have been good in the back parking lot(maybe in the spring?) Not enough room for the vendors to display merchandise. Couldn't really talk much with vendors because everybody wanted samples. I would definitely go to another one if it was set up differently.
