A New Study about Celiac Disease and Sleep Needs

Post #: 6
Have you seen this blog entry in the Huffington Post by "Dr. Michael J. Breus Why Going Gluten-Free Can't Guarantee a Good Night's Sleep

He includes has hyperlink a link to a study, "The quality of sleep in patients with coeliac disease" in the Aug. 16, 2010 issue of "Ailmentary Pharmacology & Therapeutics," in which people with Celiac disease get less sleep than people without the disease.

Dr. Breus also states that it has been established that people with celiac disease have higher levels of stress and depression than people without the disease.

Unfortunately there are no specific treatment suggestions for improved sleep for the patients with celiac disease.
