At FSHL, we seek to connect our community with the planetary cycles that affect us all, even in urban environments, such as seasonal cycles, planting cycles, and lunar cycles.  To help our community connect with the lunar cycle, we celebrate the New Moon and Full Moon with community circles. The Moon Circle gathering is family friendly, but kids must stay supervised. These family-friendly events are open to the public and feature drumming, dance, chanting, singing, local artists, healing, and much more.  Learn more here...

Please visit the donation drum with a dollar every circle to keep the rhythm flowing and the community growing.

Don't have a drum? No worries, thanks to Remo Drums we have community instruments to share with you.

Its a lot of fun, don't miss out!

Another fantastic night of music and community! Thank you to the organizers, the musicians, dancers, and all who participated. And thanks to the Earth Mother for giving us the beat of her heart and energy of the new moon! Keep it always in your heart...until we play again my friends!

I am hoping the organizers, will allow only those who are truly drumming and dancing into the circle in the garden, as there is simply not enough space, toaccomodate curious onlookers, which is cool, if there was enough space.

I hope the participants will also take the opportunity to assist in this effort, as this is a community event. Organizers repeatedly remind spectators personally and also announce this at the drum breaks, but we cannot reach everyone. If you notice a neighbor taking up space, let them know! I am also hoping the participants will take responsibility for their trash and honor the plants in the garden by not stepping on them.
