At FSHL, we seek to connect our community with the planetary cycles that affect us all, even in urban environments, such as seasonal cycles, planting cycles, and lunar cycles. To help our community connect with the lunar cycle, we celebrate the New Moon and Full Moon with community circles. The Moon Circle gathering is family friendly, but kids must stay supervised. These family-friendly events are open to the public and feature drumming, dance, chanting, singing, local artists, healing, and much more. Learn more here...

Please visit the donation drum with a dollar or two every circle to keep the rhythm flowing and the community growing to allow these circles to continue every New and Full Moon.

We have been hosting New & Full Moon Circles for EIGHT YEARS - Thanks to YOUR donations!

I don't usually let a little rain stop me...but I'm choosing to sit this one out this time. Have a great night all.

Looks like it is going to be a beautiful circle on Monday, & Giddyup Monday to boot! The circles are continuing to grow in their attendance. PLEASE help us host a mutually responsible community event by noting the following:

    - When the garden space gets full, please step outside of the garden for conversations & spectating, so the inner garden can be used for those playing music/dancing. - Please respect the plants in the garden and DO NOT cut through the beds or stand anywhere above the lawn. Friendly fences & convenient stonework should let you know the appropriate plant places to be mindful of.

    - Please smoke outside of the garden, away from the crowd.

    - Please clean up your beverage & food containers. Did a neighbor forget & leave their trash? Lend a hand & pick it up to toss away when you leave. - It's a community effort. Please be our eyes & eyes for these guidelines, as a lot of new folks are joining us each moon, & we can all help make this a better event! Thank you!

I'm surprised by the level of growth I've seen since becoming an organizer, it's given me more confidence in my abilities.
