JAMMIN! Dununba Classes

This class will focus on West African Dununba technique and rhythms and will cover the same rhythms that we learn in the JAMMIN! Friday classes. It's an opportunity to really focus on these syncopated patterns and to become more deeply immersed in the cooperative practice that generates the deeply melodic basis of these rhythms that the djembe parts are accompaniment to.
Instructor: Mark DeMaio
Information about the origins and uses of the rhythms in their original context will be included; individual feedback on technique will be provided. All rhythms will be provided in Box Notation form as an aid to memory and practice. Drums are available for class use.
The fee for this class is just $12, or $60 for a 6-class card!
