I just wanted to tell everyone that the drum circle @ Secret Lake yesterday was a success! While the turn out was not on the order of what I've heard of with the new or full moon circles, we had 6 great people show up with an assortment of instruments, which resulted in an interestingly wonderful mix (big improvement over last weeks circle of one!). I would like to extend a big thank you to Chris, Erik, Hillary (djembes), and Alvin (w/ handmade Didges). Also, a special thanks to Spider who graced us with his handmade Native American flutes on his birthday (happy birthday Spider!).
I would also like to say that we missed you Seaweed (best wishes and get better soon) and those of you who could not make it. We will look forward to meeting many more of you in the near future. As a note, I will not be able to make it the next 2 weeks due to the holiday and travel. See you all Thursday December 6 (let's keep it growing!).

Hi All, :-)
Just wanted to pop in here to say that I really, really was hoping to attend and start getting involved in the Secret Lake Drum Circle, but I am very sick with a viral infection. I'm not even making it out to Paralougne like i had hoped. :-(
I'll be there next time though. Hope this last Thursday was good.
