Paralounge Drum Gathering

Paralounge Drum Gathering is coming up in just a few short weeks. If you are not already planning to attend you should check out the details and seriously consider it.

If you have never experienced the magic of a 72 hours drum circle don't miss out on this. Paralounge is held deep in the woods along the Suwannee River with no curfew for drummers. That's right we get to drum all night and see the sun up. We do this with our rhythmic brothers and sisters from all over the South East.

This is a very special occasion for the Florida drum community that only takes place two time per year. This gathering is extra special because Arthur Hull is coming to the Paralounge Drum Gathering for the first time. A talented musician and performer, Arthur Hull is recognized as the father of the modern day community drum circle movement. Learn more about Arthur Hull here.

Arthur is currently touring the globe with his Village Music Circles programs. Prior to the Paralounge Drum Gathering, he will be in Norway, Germany, Dubai, and then Japan. His next place will the Paralounge Drum Gathering in Mayo Florida. We are very happy to have this opportunity to introduce you to Arthur Hull.

It's also going to be Halloween at the Paralounge! They are planning a great child friendly schedule for Friday night and plan to set up a trail through the campground that will give the kids a spooky trail to trick or treat on. Campers are encouraged to get into the ...spirit... of things and decorate your campsites for the trick or treat trail.

Many other amazing performances will take place throughout the weekend, along with many workshop for begginers to advanced skill levels.

Anyone needing a ride to Paralounge should post a message on the meetup site. Anyone interested in helping someone get there through a carpool should also consider posting a message. It's a three hour drive from Orlando, but well worth it. Don't miss out!
