Important Announcement! Thornton Drum Circles ending

Dear Community,

Thank you for supporting Community Drum Circles hosted on Thornton Avenue for the past three years. The tremendous healing and community growth that has occurred in this circle has amazed and uplifted everyone who has participated. It has been an honor and blessing to share these sacred spaces with you to heal, express, and create together as a community.

Our community grew so large and beautiful that in January, we were forced from our original space due the volume of our circles and neighbor concerns. Shine On Yoga has since provided a space for us to drum. Now our circle must transform again. At the studio's request, we will not be able to continue our drum circles at their location.

Moon Circles will continue in the Florida School of Holistic Living's Community Education Garden, just without the loud African Drumming component (I.e. djembes). Starting with the New Moon on Saturday May 23, we will honor the Lunar Cycle with Music Circles in the Garden. Meditation, massage, reiki, flutes, guitars, frame drums, tablas, and other musical instruments of a low volume will be welcome. Come sit in the garden and enjoy a moment to heal and commune each New and Full Moon.

We intend to secure a new space in Downtown Orlando to continue an African Drum Circle. If you have any suggestions, please contact us.

Until then, please join us for the final two African Drum Circles on Thornton Avenue:
New Moon - Saturday April 25
Full Moon - Saturday May 9

To stay informed as our circles transform, please continue watching the Meetup site. If you have enjoyed or received benefit from these events, please continue to support them in any way you can. Join the circles as they transform. Bring a friend. Share your energy as a volunteer, or make a love offering to the cause.

Thank you for the beautiful opportunity for us to share with all of you. May the beat go on.

Michael, Emily, and Florida School of Holistic Living
