Action: Ask Legislators to Disclose Sources of Income
Citizens in Senator John Courson's district, or Senator Ronnie Cromer's district, might want to contact him and urge him to sign the S.C. Policy Council's form to disclose his sources of income.
Also, we are advised that Senators Setzler, Jackson, Lourie and John Scott have not yet completed the form.
This is a part of the transparency effort, and could help to prevent conflict of interest in dealing with legislation.  Citizens have a right to know who is paying their legislators. South Carolina is the only state that does not require such disclosure by legislators.
We can email the form directly from the S.C. Policy Council's website below.  Also, whoever our Senator or Representative, we can check here to see whether he/she has disclosed income. We can just scroll down to  our County and click on our legislator's name to send the request
