La romancière torontoise Martha Baillie vous invite au premier rendez-vous du Club de lecture européen, où il sera question de la traduction anglaise du roman Trois femmes puissantes (Three Stong Women) de Marie N'Diaye, un portrait inoubliable de femmes écartelées entre l'Afrique de leurs origines et leur pays d'adoption, la France. Trois femmes puissantes a valu à N'Diaye le Prix Goncourt en 2009.

European Book Club : Three Strong Women

Toronto novelist Martha Baillie invites you to the first session of the European Book Club, in which she will discuss the English translation of Three Strong Women, Marie N'Diaye's celebrated portrayal of women who are torn between their African roots and their adoptive country, France. The novel earned N'Diaye the Goncourt literary prize in 2009.
