Come join us for an engaging topic-centered discussion. Please feel free to bring your own beverage. A snack will be provided.
The topic for October is:
How is it that multitudes can not only work together, but somehow create something new and distinct, without a leader? How do a group of ants become a functional colony, how do neurons become a mind, even a group of humans can seem to be its own entity, with predictable behavior.
There have been a number of books on this topic, and also a Radio Lab episode:
All are welcome. Cost for Non-CFI members: $2. Free for members.
If you would like to suggest future topics or make any other suggestions, please send them to the organizers.
