Fascinating Facts about Microbes

Scientific Examination of Medicine and Mental
Health—Thursday,
September 26, 7:00 pm, Center for Inquiry-Indiana,
350 Canal Walk, Suite A, Indianapolis. Topic:  Fascinating Facts about
Microbes.

Microbes, commonly known as “germs and bacteria”, are
microscopic
organisms (small units of life).  Humans and microbes have an
intimate relationship, more intimate than you ever thought. Microbes are our
deadliest enemies but we cannot live without them. Although they make digestion
possible and protect us from disease and plague, they also threaten us with
extinction. “Microbes are Us” is more true than we ever suspected. For more
fascinating facts about microbes, attend the next CFI Indiana presentation of
Scientific Medicine and Mental Health. Craig Gosling will be the
presenter.
