RELIGION UNDER EXAMINATION:
Most people have been born into one religion and hardly question childhood beliefs. In this global age of communication, religious and nonreligious people can now compare and criticize traditional views, with the help of religion scholars using modern techniques. Join this fresh exploration with Ibn Warraq, a scholar of the Koran and Islam; Robert Price, a biblical scholar; and John Shook, a philosopher of religion and naturalism. Institute participants will also interact with additional panelists and open discussion sessions, to develop an alternative interpretation of religion as
myth that might serve as metaphor to life.
