I'm looking to start a discussion about any favorite bands or musicians that are atheists and maybe give some suggestions for some of us to check out. If anyone is interested, please discuss any songs/bands you listen to that fellow atheists might be interested in.

The first thing that comes to my mind is Tim Minchin, They Might Be Giants (very sciencey - particularly "here comes science" kids album), Rage against the Machine, John Lennon/Beatles.

I know there are lots more. I tend to look for good music and thoughtful lyrics - not just "anti" or "non" religious music.
