Come join us for the fourth in our series of discussion groups. Java Vivace will serve you your choice of poison (coffee, tea, beer, etc.) and delicious food, while your fellow CFIers will serve up the conversation. To synchronize with the theme of this month's OMSI event we chose a member suggested topic which was not on the original list: Are the messages about sex in our society healthy? What are the messages? What is healthy? Does it matter? Is there an evolutionary element to them? Does it depend what is is? ... I can see this going in many different directions. I'm sure it will stimulate a lively discussion. If you would like to suggest future topics or make any other suggestions, please send them to the organizers. Thanks, -Kurt

As a prelude to the meeting, here's a sampler of extremely helpful instruction on sex down through the ages: http://www.cracked.com/article_...

I live in Tigard --not far from the public library. But, I wrote SW because I am willing to travel to Beaverton, Lake Oswego, etc --other parts in the SW close to me --in order to catch a ride.

Tammy, SW is a pretty big term. Without giving your exact location, roughly what part of the Metro area do you live in? Maybe someone would be interested in carpooling.

What about car pools? If anyone's setting out from the SW area and doesn't mind giving a lift, I'd like to go...

We just grab a coffee and speak French. Some people have been coming every week for months... it creates a kind of warmth to the group.
