Hi Marilou- I changed it quite some time ago. I assumed that people regularly check meetup.com for updates, and esp. before they go to an event, but I was wrong. Another person also didn't know of the change and showed up accidently, according to the old date. I didn't think people wanted so many emails for changes like this, but I guess I was wrong. In the future, I'll send an email for date changes.

On March 2 you sent an email announcing the discussion group meetup at Evergreen Presbyterian Church for tonight, March 21. I've been planning to go. This afternoon I just happened to check my email, and there's a reminder that it's NEXT week, March 28. I never got any notice that the date had been changed. Guess I won't go tonight. Hi Dani, I've been going to the SHEP group film series occasionally in East Portland. We are meeting to draw up a list of films. I am buying several films for the group I would be willing to lend you too. They go past religion to science and politics. One of them is A Sea Change that CFI showed at the film festival. I'm also bought Helene's War about Helen Caldicott, an Australian woman who started Physicians for Responsibility, a group that led the campaign against Nuclear war in the US.
