The Naked Public Square - a talk by Tom Flynn from CFI

The regular discussion group will be replaced this month by a talk (and discussion) by Tom Flynn from the main office of CFI.

"The Naked Public Square." This illustrated presentation lays out a novel and powerful argument why freethinkers should seek to exclude all religious images and symbols from the public square. Not for the timid!

Some of us will go have dinner afterwards at El Arroyo on Wood Hollow across the parking lot from the library.

Very informative, that USA had religious sectarian violence (1844) and that we are likely to have it in the future if we allow religions to compete loudly in the public square
