Discussion Group: Cultural vs. Moral Relativism

This discussion will focus on relativism  - both cultural as described by some 20th century anthropologists and moral, which might be described as a misinterpretation of the intent of the anthropologists promoting an approach to understanding different groups of people throughout history or the world.

It might be useful for the discussion to look over the Wikipedia entry on Relativism, which includes concise statements about the views of various thinkers who have been labelled as relativists. Link: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Relativism

The topic was fascinating and the discussion was wide ranging. Even though it was off topic sometimes, there was full participation from everyone there. I really enjoyed it

I started the group because there wasn't any other type of group like this. I've met some great folks in the group who have become close friends and have also met some amazing business owners.
