Announcing a new Meetup for Center for Inquiry Austin!

What: CFI Holiday Saturnalia Party

When: December 19,[masked]:00 PM

Where:
First Unitarian Universalist Church
4700 Grover Ave
Austin, TX 78756

On December 19th, CFI Austin will be hosting our first holiday party, and we intend to do it in style? old Roman style that is. We?re planning to meet at the First Unitarian Universalist Church of Austin (FUUCA). People are welcome to show up as early as 7pm. In keeping with the spirit of feasting for this occasion, we are asking everyone to RSVP here, but to also coordinate with Eric Osterholm ([address removed]) on a dish to bring and share (ala potluck).

With the facilities and food covered, we have talked about accepting donations for a local charity? more info at the event.

We are also reaching out to invite and\or coordinate with several other groups, including FACT, ACA and Atheist Longhorns.

We are still working out details on which room we will be using, and what the festivities will be, but we welcome all suggestions (except the ones about sacrificing live goats or dancing naked under the trees- while intriguing, we encourage you to free to engage in those rituals in the privacy of your own homes <grin>).
