Monthly Forum - "Religion and Psychiatry" presented by Dr. Richard Schloss

This month we are proud to present Dr. Richard Schloss who will speak on the subject of "Religion and Psychiatry".

Richard Schloss is a board-certified psychiatrist with a full-time private practice in Huntington, Long Island. He holds a BA from Columbia University and an MD from the SUNY College of Medicine at the Brooklyn Center for Health Sciences (formerly Downstate Medical Center). He did his psychiatric residency at the Mount Sinai Hospital in New York City. He is a longtime member of CFI Long Island, and a frequent contributor to the Skeptical Connections podcasts coordinated by Marc David Barnhill. He lives in East Northport with his wife, Meredith Jaffe, DDS, and his two sons, both dedicated freethinkers.

    I thought it was going to challenge open debate and learning. I assumed it was comparative theories regarding religious ideologies and behaviorism.
    I would suggest an open podium to present opinions, hypotheses and real-life hands-on experiences. Peace & Blessings
