This Meetup is a place for Montreal's skeptical, atheist, secular, and humanist communities to gather.  It is sponsored by the Montreal branch of the Centre For Inquiry Canada.  CFI Canada is a registered educational charity that promotes skepticism, critical thinking, secularism, and free thought; it is the largest such organisation in the country, with a branch in every major city.  If you are interested in these subjects and in seeing them promoted in Canada, we urge you to join.

We organise many activities related to secularism and atheism, including lectures, social gatherings, and a book club.  We also publicize relevant events in Montreal that haven't been organized by CFI Montreal; if you are aware of any, please tell us so that we can post them!  You can look at our list of previous events to get an idea of what we offer and what our members might be interested in.

Some CFI Montreal events carry a small fee to cover expenses.  This fee is reduced for students (with ID) and is reduced or waived altogether for CFI Canada members (with ID).  Any fees will be listed in the event details.  And again, we urge you to become a member of CFI Canada.
