An Intimate Discussion With Bert Gasenbeek, Chair of CFI Low Countries

  • Nov 20, 2013 · 6:00 PM
  • Stone Creek Lounge

Join us for an evening of drinks and discussion with Bert Gasenbeek who is visiting NYC from the Netherlands.

Bert is chair of Center for Inquiry Low Countries, and an historian of humanism at the only humanistic university in the world: the University of Humanistic Studies. He is also the director of the Humanistic Historical Center. His current research is focused on secularism, science and worldview, Felix Adler and Jaap van Praag, humanism and second Vatican council, and Piet Spigt, a famous Dutch Freethinker.

Here's your chance to learn about and discuss the current issues facing secularism and humanism in the Netherlands while having a good time and making some friends.
