Fancy a midday helping of open-ended intellectual exchange? Join a small group of aspiring critical thinkers for great, inexpensive food and lively discussion of topics relating to skepticism, secularism, science, philosophy, psychology, and other matters of the mind. Attendance will be limited to 8 people, so reserve your spot early and PLEASE let us know if you need to cancel. This event is tentatively scheduled for the second and fourth Sunday of each month.
The moment I took my place the average age was increased by about 8 years. I enjoyed the conversation, tho' I was taken aback by some of the opinions expressed, still the meal was a fantastic bargain and the company intelligent and friendly.

The brunch roster is always full before I even get an opportunity to apply. I suggest getting a site that can accommodate more people. Secular Humanists of NY, for example, holds monthly Sunday brunches at Brabant Belgian Brasserie, 316 E. 53 St., and they invite 15 to 20 members to attend.
