Julian Heicklen is a well-known jury nullification activist from the northeast. Since late last year, he has traveled across the country to distribute information to jurors on federal property.

Before retiring as a professor from Penn State, he was mostly noted for his marijuana relegalization protests.

Because of his age (78), he is currently being held in the infirmary at New York's Riker’s Island at least until his court date on June 8.

In a show of solidarity, I would encourage everyone to write a letter to Julian to show your appreciation for him standing up for free speech and the rights of jurors.
