Hi Jon, I canceled the Golden Gardens bonfore Meetup because not enough people were interested. I guess the problem was that I did not promote it at all or people are just not interested in bofires on the beach.

Yes it was good to meet you guys too, sorry I couldn't meet up with you after the play, my sister had someplace to be. Great suggestion though, I loved the play.

I RSVP'd last night and said I'd bring two guests to the play, but now only one of them can make it. So it will be myself, plus 1 guest coming to the play.

Hi Jon - good to hear from you...I was in exactly the same situtation, off the air more or less for 20 years ( I still kept a Ranger 2950 in my van for periodic use). I got back in after discovering all of the cool new things available to hams. Look forward to seeing at the meetup or on the net..

Yeah there is but its called that for some reason I don't know. Sort of like the Cincinnati airport being in Kentucky. The larger county is Meigs County, but they call my town Goshen. Pop. 422
