Welcome to the Meetup for the Cedar Falls/Waterloo Secularists - a social group for those with a religion-free worldview in the Cedar Valley area.

The intent of this Meetup is to form a community of atheists, agnostics, humanists, freethinkers, and other non-religious persons. If you are searching for just such a community or are interested in learning more about the views of our members, join us at any of our Meetup events. We meet for coffee on the second Sunday and drinks after work on the fourth Friday of every month. We also plan other special events throughout the month, so keep an eye out for those! We look forward to meeting you!

There are other area secular groups - if you are interested in what else is going on around the state, please check them out! The Corridor A-Team and Corridor Secularists are in Cedar Rapids, and the Iowa Atheists and Freethinkers are in Des Moines.

This meet-up was established with the help of the Iowa Secularists, a statewide nonprofit organization that has since closed, but was committed to creating local communities of religion-free Iowans, educating the public on living without religion, engaging in positive secular activities that contribute to our communities, and supporting the Separation of Church and State as established in the first amendment.
