Handling Time Zones and Recurrences like a Boss in Python/Django w/ Wes Kendall

Doing datetime manipulation in Python can be a very tedious task, especially across different time zones and daylight savings time boundaries. This talk summarizes a new open-source library called "Fleming" that aids in doing datetime manipulation across timezones. It also talks about "Django Localized Recurrence", another new open-source library for scheduling recurrences of events based on a time zone. The talk also gives a basic introduction to pytz in Python and some of the ways that Django handles time zones.
