It’s time for the Chamber Music Society’s (CMS) annual baroque concert and post-concert reception!
Once again, please join us and our friends at CMS during the December holiday month to hear a selection of rarely performed baroque pieces by some of the most well-known composers of the period.
CMS has offered us generously discounted tickets for this very special evening, a concert followed by a cocktail reception at the Rose Studio. The reception this year will include an art exhibit curated by KiptonArt and will be sponsored by The New York Observer. These receptions are a lot of fun and a great opportunity to meet and mingle with other members of our group and other young chamber music enthusiasts. As always, I hope many of you will attend and then stop by the reception afterwards for eats, a beer or three, and to meet other chamber music enthusiasts in a fun setting.
NOTE: CMS will be making 50 tickets (concert & reception) available for our group this year. Accordingly, if you want to attend, then please purchase your ticket from CMS as soon as possible. First come, first served. RSVPing ON THE EVENT PAGE ALONE DOES NOT GUARANTEE YOU A TICKET.

WHERE TO MEET:
Before the Concert:
You Have Your Ticket: Enter the MAIN ENTRANCE through the revolving doors on 65th & Broadway. I'll be there at 7:00PM, standing to the LEFT of the revolving doors along the glass wall facing Lincoln Center.
You Need to Pick Up Your Ticket: Use the entrance a little further up, to the right of the lobby cafe, close to66th Street. You'll see the box office from outside. Pick up your tix, then come meet us inside the main entrance.
At 7:20PM, we'll go to our seats. If you arrive late or are stuck in line waiting to pick up tix, then just go to your seat and meet us after the concert. Performance begins at 7:30PM.
After the Concert:
We’ll meet BRIEFLY back in the lobby, and then walk over to the Rose Studio for the reception. If you’re delayed getting out of the hall and/or can’t find us, don't worry -- please just go directly to the Rose Studio. WE WILL BE THERE!
The studio is located on the 10th Fl. of the Rose Building. This building is attached to the Walter Reade Theater just down the block on 65th. Walk towards Amsterdan, past Julliard's entrance. You will see a stairwell to your right. When you get to the top, the Rose Building entrance will be in front of you.
Alternatively, you can walk a little past the stairwell to the street-level escalator. If you opt for the escalator, turn left when you get to the top and the Rose Building entrance will be directly in front of you.
Rose Building Address:
164 West 65th Street, 10th Floor (closer to Amsterdam)
New York, NY 10023
Printed directions to the Rose Studio will be available at the patron window prior to the concert, and at the CMS shop in the lobby during and after the performance.
See you there!
